Obesity

Interventions

High-intensity Interval Training:HIIT Swimming Intervention: 3 times per week, for 8 weeks
Content: 30 sec*12 sets of all-out sprint swims with 1min intervals between sets
Exercise intensity: 90%-95% HRmax.
Moderate Intensity Continuous Training:MICT Swimming Intervention: 3 times per week, for 8 weeks
Content: 30mins continuous swimming
Exercise intensity: 70%-75% HRmax.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Over 18 years old, and the gender is not limited; 2.Overweight/obese people with BMI >=25kg/m²; 3.No regular physical activity in the last three months and less than 90 minutes of regular exercise per week; 4.Be in good health with no heart disease, high blood pressure, color blindness and other physical/mental diseases; 5.Have some basic swimming skills and can swim breaststroke for more than 20 meters without assistance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 People who avoid water, fear water and can not swim 20 meters alone; 2.People with sports contraindications; 3.Had heart disease, bone/joint injuries, or had a history of major surgical treatment; 4.People suffer from color blindness; 5.People under any case that is not suitable for exercise.
