Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy volunteers: Inclusion criteria: Aged between 20 and 40 years old, with a gender ratio of 1:1. There is no subjective report of masticatory muscle dysfunction. The dentition is complete, and there are no positive findings in the examination of the joints and muscles. 2.Subjects with masticatory muscle dysfunction: Inclusion criteria: Patients clinically diagnosed with masticatory muscle dysfunction (maxillofacial muscle spasm, chronic masticatory muscle pain), and patients after jaw reconstruction surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers: Exclusion criteria: History of systemic diseases (such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, etc.), history of long-term use of psychotropic drugs, obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome, severe malocclusion, tenderness of joints and muscles, active caries, periodontal diseases, dental defects (excluding the third molars) or unrepaired dental defects, unilateral chewing habit. Patients clinically diagnosed with masticatory muscle dysfunction; patients with jaw defects or those who have undergone jaw reconstruction surgery. 2. Subjects with masticatory muscle dysfunction: Exclusion criteria: History of systemic diseases (such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, etc.), history of long-term use of psychotropic drugs, obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome, severe malocclusion, tenderness of joints and muscles, active caries, periodontal diseases, dental defects (excluding the third molars) or unrepaired dental defects, unilateral chewing habit.
