Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients admitted to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit(TSICU);

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Age<65; 2.Diagnosed with dementia and moderate-to-severe liver disease; 3.Severe liver disease was evaluated by the Charleson Comorbidity Index; 4.Did not undergo a complete CAM-ICU assessment. 5.Not the first hospital admission,not the first ICU admission,and ICU stay duration less than 24 hours. 6.Patients who did not have albumin and LDH data available during their ICU admission to calculate the LAR(Lactate Dehydrogenase to Albumin Ratio).
