Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=18 years; 2. Anticipated ICU stay >=24 hours; 3. APACHE II score >=12 points; 4. Evidence of pulmonary infection requiring mechanical-assisted sputum clearance, as indicated by pulmonary imaging, bedside ultrasound, lung auscultation, or other diagnostic assessments; 5. Voluntary informed consent obtained from the patient.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient has contraindications for mechanical assisted sputum removal. 2. The patient is unable to use the EIT strap due to body shape, skin damage, or other reasons. 3. The patient refuses.
