Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants are aged between 18 and 80 years old. 2. The case group consists of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients, while the control group comprises individuals with normal glucose tolerance. The diagnosis of diabetes conforms to the 2025 ADA criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants are under 18 years old or over 80 years old. 2. Participants have a history of taking any medication within the past month. 3. Participants have severe liver or kidney dysfunction, or cancer. 4. Participants are pregnant or lactating women.
