35 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed as ischemic stroke with first-ever episode; 2. Stroke lesion located in unilateral subcortical areas (i.e., the internal capsule, basal ganglia, paraventricular, centrum semiovale, and radialis corona, and other corticospinal tract pathway regions), with an onset duartion of 14 days - 6 months; 3. Aged from 35-80 years, right-handed; 4.Demonstrated unilateral limb weakness with manual muscle testing (MMT) grade < V- in affected limbs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Existence of contraindication of MRI; 2.Serious dysarthria, auditory impairment, or cognition impairment that do not allow the patients to cooperate with scale assessment; 3.Presence of other conditions causing limb mobility limitations, functional impairment, joint swelling, contractures, severe pain, or other limb disorders; 4. Serious heart, lung, liver, and kidney dysfunctions, or serious chronic diseases that researchers consider not suitable for the study; 5. Patients who are accepting non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial electrical stimulation, etc., and are not able to stop the therapy after inclusion.
