Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged >10 months with verbal communication abilities and sentence repetition skills 2. Congenital cleft palate patients with/without concurrent cleft lip and alveolar ridge defects 3. Treatment-naive patients or those =1 day post-palatoplasty 4. Native Mandarin speakers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Comorbid conditions affecting speech production (e.g., cerebrovascular accidents, psychiatric disorders, vocal cord lesions) 2. Poor compliance candidates unsuitable for data collection
