Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged between 18 and 80 years old, who meet the diagnostic criteria for gastric cancer and require radical surgical intervention. (2) Those who have not received radiotherapy or chemotherapy before surgery. (3) Volunteers who are willing to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form. (4) Those who can communicate well with the researchers and comply with all the requirements of the entire trial.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Not meeting the inclusion criteria. (2) Malignant cachexia indicated by nutrition assessment. (3) Complicated with metabolic diseases, such as diabetes. (4) Concurrently having malignant tumors in other parts of the body. (5) Patients with metastatic lesions found during the operation or those who can not undergo gastrectomy for gastric cancer as planned before the operation and instead receive palliative treatment. (6) Patients with senile dementia, brain atrophy, acute stage or sequelae of cerebrovascular diseases, or cognitive impairment. (7) Patients with mental or neurological disorders who can not cooperate with doctors. (8) Those with local or systemic acute bacterial infections that can not be effectively controlled. (9) Patients having surgical contraindications, such as severe cardiopulmonary diseases or coagulation disorders. (10) Patients with shock or in critical condition who can not cooperate with the operation and evaluation of the effect. (11) Patients with contraindications for enteral nutrition, such as intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe shock, or local intestinal ischemia. (12) Other circumstances that researchers consider inappropriate for participation in the study.
