Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children diagnosed with dyslexia by a child psychiatrist based on DSM-5 criteria and the Chinese Reading Ability Test (CRAT); 2. Elementary school students in grades 2 to 6; 3. An IQ greater than 85, as assessed by the Combined Raven's Test (CRT-C3); 4. Chinese language performance ranking in the bottom 20% of their class; 5. Voluntary participation in the study, with informed consent obtained from parents or legal guardians.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Co-occurrence of other neurodevelopmental disorders; 2. Currently or previously diagnosed with major psychiatric disorders; 3. History of traumatic brain injury or other organic brain disorders; 4. Severe visual or hearing impairments, or significant physical health issues that affect motor functions; 5. Allergic or adverse reactions to VR equipment; 6. Participation in any other specialized intervention program for dyslexia within the past 6 months; 7. Inability to ensure regular participation in the intervention and assessments.
