Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Seeking hospital care between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2023; 2. Under 5 years old or 60 years and older at the time of the hospital visit; 3. Residing in the city / district (i.e., Tianjin, Yinzhou, and Xiamen); 4. Any mention of ARI, RSV, hMPV or influenza viruses in the ICD-10 diagnosis codes (defined below).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Incomplete clinical data related to the research; 2. Hospital-acquired ARI cases.
