Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with renal tumor and venous tumor thrombus who underwent robotic-assisted surgery at our center; (2) Aged between 18 and 75 years; (3) Preoperative imaging confirmed that the tumor thrombus did not extend above the hepatic confluence and exhibited only proximal (craniocaudal) growth within the IVC; (4) Low abdominal adiposity, with a body mass index (BMI) = 28.0 kg/m².
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Previous ipsilateral renal surgery; (2) Congenital or acquired solitary kidney; (3) Concurrent malignancies in other organ systems; (4) Radiologic evidence of tumor thrombus adhesion to surrounding tissues or suspected venous wall invasion; (5) Preoperative imaging demonstrating a markedly bulky tumor thrombus or extensive primary tumor burden.
