18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Signed and dated informed consent; 2.Commitment to comply with research procedures and co-operation in the implementation of the full research process; 3.Patients with a definite diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease as determined by endoscopy/imaging, clinical presentation by at least two tertiary care gastroenterologists and documented in the electronic medical record system; 4.Male or non-pregnant female; 5.Between the ages of 18 and 75; 6.Patient with moderately or severely active disease, defined as Mayo score 6-12 in patients with ulcerative colitis or CDAI score 220-400 in patients with Crohn's disease;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.No commitment to regular follow-up; 2.Participating other clinical trials during the study time; 3.Patients with a history of >=3 previous bowel resections or a diagnosis of short bowel syndrome; 4.The patients had undergone previous extensive colectomy, subtotal or total colectomy.
