Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were: 1. a clear diagnosis of bone and chondrosarcoma; 2. current age 10-18 years; 3. currently on chemotherapy; 4.both the carers and the children were able to understand the informed consent and the research questions and the patients agreed to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were: 1. those who had participated or were participating in similar studies; 2. those who had difficulty in listening, speaking, reading, and writing; 3. those who had known serious psychological and psychiatric illnesses that made them unsuitable to participate in this study.
