18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged > = 18 years old and < = 80 years old; 2. Risk of NASH, such as obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, or chronic elevated serum aminotransferase concentration; 3. No other acute or chronic illness other than obesity, type 2 diabetes mellitus, or metabolic syndrome based on medical history, physical and laboratory tests.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Excessive alcohol consumption (excessive alcohol intake is defined as > 210 grams per week for men and >140 grams per week for women); 2. Liver diseases other than MASLD/MASH (including hepatitis B or C, autoimmune hepatitis, etc.); 3. Use hepatoprotective drugs such as silymarin and phosphatidylcholine.
