Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ICU patients aged >=18 years; Require mechanical ventilation support due to acute respiratory failure or other reasons; Expected mechanical ventilation time >=48 hours (assessed by the attending physician); The patient or his legal representative signed the informed consent before enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Have clear contraindications to mechanical ventilation (such as severe pulmonary fibrosis, uncorrected pneumothorax, airway malformation); Currently participating in other clinical trials that may interfere with the optimization of ventilator parameters; Pregnant or lactating women; Expected survival time <48 hours (assessed by more than two doctors).
