Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18-65 years; 2. Positive serum HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) for more than 6 months; 3. Manifesting as jaundice (Total Bilirubin >= 10× the upper limit of normal, in micromoles per liter) and coagulopathy (INR >= 1.5, or prothrombin activity < 40%), complicated within 4 weeks by ascites and/or encephalopathy; 4. Agree to sign and participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Liver tumor indicated by ultrasound/CT/MRI; 2. Positive for anti-HIV test; 3. Complicated with hepatic encephalopathy; 4. Complicated with consciousness disorders or cognitive impairments caused by other diseases; 5. Pregnancy or lactation; 6. A history of alcohol overdose within 5 years: males >40 grams/day, females >20 grams/day; 7. Received liver transplantation; 8. Patients who participate in other clinical trials simultaneously.
