Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients newly admitted to the ICU of internal medicine; (2)MV>48h ; (3) Age> 18 years old; (4) Expected ICU treatment for more than 5 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Diagnosed with neurological disease and admitted to the hospital; (2) History of thyroid disease or recent thyroid hormone replacement therapy; (3) patients with mental illness; (4) Pregnant and lactating patients.
