Interventions

Intervention group:Participants in the intervention group will receive salt substitute (75% sodium chloride, 25% potassium chloride) free of charge to replace regular salt (nearly 100% sodium chloride
Control group:Participants in the control group will continue to use regular salt for cooking, seasoning, and food preservation at home

18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 45 mL/min/1.73 m^2 =18 years old. 4. Eat at home at least 5 days a week. 5. No plans to move in the next 12 weeks. 6. Able to communicate normally with researchers. 7. Sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals or a family member living with me currently suffer from severe kidney disease (including: autosomal dominant or autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease, history of kidney transplant, CKD stage G3b, G4, or G5, lupus nephritis) or hyperkalemia, or have a history of hyperkalemia. 2. Individuals or a family member living with me are taking potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements. 3. Currently using low-sodium salt. 4. A family member living with me has already participated in this study. 5. Suffering from other severe and life-threatening diseases, or an expected lifespan of less than six months.
