Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case group: patients with diabetic OLK who developed cancer during the follow-up period (meeting the diagnostic criteria for OLK cancer). Control group: patients with diabetic OLK who did not develop cancer during the follow-up period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Oral squamous cell carcinoma diagnosed histopathologically at the time of initial diagnosis; (2) Patients who underwent only clinical examination without histopathology; (3) Patients with OLK who lacked both glycosylated hemoglobin and fasting glucose measurements; (4) Patients who had no review or had a follow-up time of = 6 months; (5) Patients with a previous history of systemic neoplasia; (6) Pregnant women.
