18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. be aged over 18 years; 2. had single posterior dental implant restoration with natural teeth adjacent to it; 3. had achieved successful osseointegration in the implant sites; 4. The opposing teeth are natural or non-implant supported restoration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. serious disorders of the temporomandibular joint; 2. serious systemic diseases or diagnosed psychological disorders; 3. use of established medications that impact the central nervous system or neuromuscular activity; 4. received treatment that included orthodontics or tooth extraction following the delivery of implant prostheses; 5. demonstrated parafunctional behaviors, including clenching and bruxism; 6. history of periodontitis; 7. adjacent teeth to the implant restoration or opposing dentition exhibiting looseness, malposition, rotation, or morphological abnormalities; 8. discrepancy in marginal ridge height of adjacent teeth, abnormal occlusal curve, or plunger cusps in opposing teeth; 9. Unwillingness to participate in further follow-up.
