Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>=18 years with capable of signing informed consent; 2. Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with one or more retinal breaks; 3. Patients who intend to undergo vitrectomy and have surgical indications; 4. Patients who accepted to follow for 3 months or longer after surgery; 5. At least part of the cornea is clear (or the central cornea is clear) to ensure fundus examination, visual function examination, and OCT examination after vitrectomy;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) of grade C or greater; 2. Pathological myopia macular hole retinal detachment; 3. Keratopathy affecting the visual field, such as corneal opacity or scarring; 4. A history of any previous vitreoretinal surgical procedures; 5. Incapable of postoperative posturin; 6. Significant ocular comorbidities such as uveitis, uncontrolled glaucoma, and severe or proliferative diabetic retinopathy. 7. External eye infection; 8. A follow-up period of less than 3 months; 9. Uncontrolled systemic or ocular disease;
