Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Older Adults: 1) Individuals aged 60 years or older; 2) Those with a history of aspiration, impaired consciousness, long-term bed rest, artificial airway placement, or any one of the high-risk factors listed in the aspiration risk checklist; 3) Those with complete and relevant medical and nursing records. (2) Caregivers: 1) Nurses must hold a valid Nurse Practicing Certificate issued by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, and their registration must be current; 2) Caregivers must be full-time elderly care workers who directly provide care services to older adults; 3) They must have worked in the respective elderly care institution for at least 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Older Adults: 1) Those who are unable to continue participating for any reason; 2) Those who leave the elderly care institution for more than one week during the study period. (2) Caregivers: Those who are on leave, away for training, or have resigned during the survey period.
