Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) All participants were right-handed with normal or corrected-to-normal vision; (2) They smoked more than 10 cigarettes per day for over two years; (3) They had a voluntary desire to quit smoking.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A history of psychiatric disorders, neurological diseases, or other substance abuse.
