Experimental group:Health education for children with epilepsy and their primary caregivers during outpatient visits and hospitalizations (30 minutes/session, 1 session in total) includes:

2. Distribution of health education materials (manuals and videos): covering epilepsy knowledge, medication-related knowledge, healthy lifestyle, etc.
(3) The doctor-drug-patient tripartite party discussed the patients self-management behavior and needs, and guided the patient to participate in the formulation of a personalized self-management actio
2. Short knowledge quizzes to test and strengthen the knowledge in the children's home study manual
3. Identify the facilitators and hindrances in the process, discuss with the doctor, and collaborate with the patient to develop an improvement plan
4. Improve the self-management plan and agree on the time of the next intervention
5. Psychological care: give encouragement and praise to children and caregivers.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children: 1. Clinically diagnosed epilepsy, according to the 2017 diagnostic criteria of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE); 2. Age 0-18 years old; 3. The diagnosis time is greater than 1 year; 4. Patients and guardians are informed and agree to participate in the study. Caregivers: 1. Be the primary caregiver of the child;2. Agree to participate in this study;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children: 1. Severe progressive organic diseases in the brain such as encephalitis, tumors, degenerative diseases, etc.; 2. Be in status epilepticus; Caregivers: Withdrawn from this study halfway due to various reasons;
