Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The subjects provided informed consent and voluntarily participated in this study. They were aged between 25 and 80 years, had stable conditions, were able to communicate normally, cooperate, and clearly express their pain sensations and provide pain scores. The puncture site was marked, and the skin at the puncture site was normal with no sensory abnormalities. They had no history of radial artery surgery and were undergoing PCI via radial artery puncture for the first time.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Emergency cases, critically ill patients, patients with hearing or communication impairments, those requiring intraoperative change of puncture site, patients under non-local anesthesia, and those allergic to compound lidocaine cream.
