18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age greater than 18 years, MMSE score > 24 (illiterate > 18, elementary education > 22, secondary education > 23). 2.Patients undergoing elective orthopedic surgery. 3.General anesthesia as the primary anesthesia method. 4.Surgical duration greater than 3 hours, postoperative hospital stay greater than 3 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Unable to cooperate. 2.Patients who underwent concurrent craniotomy or cardiac surgery. 3.Preoperatively diagnosed with dementia, cognitive dysfunction, delirium, or other psychiatric disorders. 4.Patients who underwent a second surgery during the study period. 5.Patients whose endotracheal tube was not removed on the day of surgery.
