Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>=18 years; 2. Patients with a diagnosis of T2DM based on the 2013 American Diabetes Association diagnostic criteria for T2DM and who were diagnosed with T2DM at least 6 months prior to inclusion, 6.5% remaining teeth in the mouth = 20, and no periodontal treatment has been performed in the past 6 months; 4. The patient's diet and exercise remained basically unchanged during the observation period; 5. BMI of women is 19-26 kg/m^2, and BMI of men is 20-27 kg/m^2; 6. Have not taken antibiotics or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the past 3 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Edentulous patients; 2. Patients with severe infection or severe trauma; 3. Severe systemic disease or complication, with systemic inflammatory diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis, etc.). , patients with hematologic diseases, liver damage, kidney disease, and immune insufficiency; 4. Alcoholism or chronic drug abuse; 5. Smoking; 6. Physical or mental impairment that interferes with oral health care; 7. Pregnant or lactating women; 8. Long-term use of related drugs that may lead to gingival hyperplasia; 9. Patients who believe that the investigator has poor compliance and cannot participate in the trial.
