Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All women with proposed vaginal deliveries at Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Hospital from 01/2014 to 12/2024, aged 18-50 years, 24-42 weeks of gestation, and the same woman giving birth again, were also included in the analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Analgesia for intravenous delivery; 2. Data related to analgesia and mode of delivery were missing.
