Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: NEC group: 1. Neonates admitted to NICU from April 2025 to February 2026, regardless of gender; 2. Gestational age<37 weeks; 3. NEC; 4. Guardians volunteered to participate in the study. Control group: 1. Neonates with non digestive system diseases admitted to NICU, regardless of gender; 2. Gestational age<37 weeks; 3. NEC; 4. Guardians volunteered to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Congenital intestinal malformations (intestinal malrotation, intestinal atresia, congenital megacolon, etc.); 2. Genetic metabolic diseases; 3. Complicated with other serious infections; 4. Unclear diagnosis; 5. Incomplete data.
