Dental Anxiety

Interventions

Control Group:Aromatherapy machine+equal amount (120ml+4-6 drops) of deionized water
Lavender essential oil group:Aromatherapy machine +4-6 drops of simple lavender essential oil +120ml deionized water
Sweet orange essential oil group:Aromatherapy machine+4-6 drops of single-dose sweet orange essential oil+120ml deionized water

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The age range is adults from 18 to 60. 2. Upcoming dental treatment, such as resin filling, root canal treatment, periodontal primary treatment, tooth extraction, etc. 3. Able to understand the purpose of the study and willing to participate in the trial. 4. Able to complete evaluation and follow-up during the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. People who are allergic to the aromatherapy oil ingredients used in the experiment or the materials used in dental treatment. 2. Patients undergoing oral examination only. 3. Have serious heart disease, high blood pressure, respiratory disease, or other systemic illness that is not eligible for participation in the trial. 4. Pregnant or lactating women. 5. People with depressive symptoms, anxiety disorders, or other mental illnesses that affect their emotional state. 6. People who are using sedative or analgesic drugs. 7. Those who have recently or are currently using aromatherapy oils.
