Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. First admission to ICU, and the length of stay >= 3D; 3. The clinical examination of the doctor in charge determined that the patient lacked the ability of independent decision-making (such as unconsciousness, cognitive impairment or inability to express in language / limb / writing). Inclusion criteria for alternative decision makers: 1. Age >=18 years old, and knowledge of the patient's condition; 2. The immediate family members of ICU patients are the main alternative decision makers of patients; 3. She has clear thinking, good understanding ability, and can express her feelings in words. She volunteered to participate in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient exclusion criteria: 1. Those who give up rescue during treatment; 2. Incomplete information; 3. Participate in other researchers. Exclusion criteria for alternative decision makers: 1. The alternative decision makers have mental and cognitive disorders; 2. The replacement decision-maker has experienced major life events such as divorce and widowhood in the past 3 months; 3. Participate in other researchers; 4. There was a dispute with the hospital.
