Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. patient aged >=18 years. 2. patients with systemic health or controlled medical conditions. 3. patients with treated periodontal conditions. 4. one or more edentulous sites scheduled for guided bone regeneration in the anterior maxilla with natural adjacent teeth. 5. two vertical-releasing incisions (trapezoidal flap designs) were made one tooth away from the edentulous site.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic/local conditions impairing healing (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, active infection). 2. Postoperative surgical site infection. 3. Incomplete clinical records (pre-/postoperative CBCT, intraoral photographs). 4. Poor-quality CBCT images precluding analysis.
