Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. First-time mothers with a single cephalic fetus who are eligible for vaginal delivery; 2. Normal fetal development; 3. Gestational age >= 35 weeks; 4. The pregnant women are informed about the study and have signed the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with mental or cognitive impairments or communication barriers; 2. Those with urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse; 3. A history of cervical insufficiency, recurrent miscarriage, severe constipation, chronic cough, or related conditions; 4. Unexplained persistent vaginal bleeding; 5. Multiple pregnancies or twin pregnancies after 28 weeks; 6. Presence of the following obstetric complications: such as threatened miscarriage, cervical insufficiency, placenta previa, preterm labor or history of preterm birth, premature rupture of membranes, genital infections (e.g., genital herpes, genital candidiasis), or severe pregnancy complications that preclude vaginal delivery.
