Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for Normal Population: 1. Age range: 10-100 years old. 2. No history of neurological diseases (such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, etc.). 3. No history of mental illness (such as depression, schizophrenia, etc.). 4. No history of severe head trauma or brain surgery. 5. No contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (such as metal implants in vivo, claustrophobia, etc.). 6. Able to cooperate with the completion of MRI examination. 7. Sign the informed consent form (if the subject is a minor, the guardian must sign it). Inclusion Criteria for Patients with Parkinson's Disease: 1. Age range: 10-100 years old. 2. Meet internationally recognized diagnostic criteria for Parkinson's disease (such as British Brain Bank Criteria or MDS Diagnostic Criteria). 3. The condition is stable, and there is no obvious fluctuation (such as end-of-dose phenomenon, switch phenomenon, etc.). 4. No other neurological diseases (such as Alzheimer's disease, stroke, etc.). 5. No history of mental illness (such as depression, schizophrenia, etc.). 6. No history of severe head trauma or brain surgery. 7. No contraindications to MRI examination. 8. Able to cooperate with MRI examination. 9. Sign the informed consent form (if the subject is a minor, the guardian must sign it).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Normal Population Exclusion Criteria: 1. Presence of a diagnosis or symptom of a neurological disorder or psychiatric disorder. 2. Have a history of severe head trauma or brain surgery. 3. There are contraindications to MRI examination. 4. Recent (e.g., within 6 months) use of drugs that may affect neuromelanin signaling (such as antipsychotic drugs, antiparkinson's disease drugs, etc.). 5. Pregnant or lactating females. 6. Unable to cooperate with the completion of MRI examination. 7. Refusal to sign informed consent. Exclusion Criteria for Patients with Parkinson's Disease: 1. Does not meet the diagnostic criteria for Parkinson's disease. 2. Presence of other neurological diseases or psychiatric disorders. 3. Have a history of severe head trauma or brain surgery. 4. There are contraindications to MRI examination. 5. Recent (e.g., within 6 months) treatment that may affect neuromelanin signaling (e.g., deep brain stimulation surgery). 6. Pregnant or lactating females. 7. Unable to cooperate with the completion of MRI examination. 8. Refusal to sign informed consent.
