Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) To undergo elective major thoracic and abdominal surgery under general anesthesia, operation time >= 3 hours; (2) Age >= 60 years old, gender unlimited, BMI18-30 kg/m², ASA grade II-III; (3) Patients who completed serum ferritin examination within 7 days before surgery; (4) Preoperative MMSE screening showed that illiterate (uneducated) patients >= 17 points, primary school patients >= 20 points (years of education 6 years) >= 24 points
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with significant impairment of vision, hearing, or motor functions (such as hemiplegia), inability to communicate well, inability to express themselves clearly, or failure to cooperate with research; (2) Have a clear history of neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders or personality abnormalities, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease syndrome, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia, depression, etc.; (3) History of severe trauma or major surgery or infection within 1 year; (4) A history of serious physical illness and drug dependence or alcoholism; (5) History of vital organs dysfunction
