Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Esophageal cancer diagnosed and confirmed by pathological histology; (2) Tumor progression after first-line regimen treatment (platinum or 5-fluorouracil based chemotherapy), which was not suitable for resection after MDT discussion. (3) Dysphagia score 3–4 points; (4) ECOG PS score =1.5 × 109 /L; platelets >=80 × 109 /L; albumin >=30 g/L; alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) =60 mL/min.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) dysphagia caused by non-primary esophageal cancer tumors; (2) mild dysphagia with a score of 1 or 2, and non-cooperative dysphagia; (3) lesions with the upper boundary exceeding the level of the seventh cervical vertebra; (4) ulcerative esophageal cancer; (5) history of esophageal stent implantation; (6) concurrent malignancies other than esophageal cancer; (7) presence of severe active autoimmune diseases or a history of autoimmune diseases.
