Interventions

Intervention group:Home visits by social workers with our two family boxes 'Family Safety Box' and 'Family First Aid Box' to explain to children and their caregivers the contents of the 6 common types
Control Group:The routine content of home visits by social workers includes general health knowledge and skills and mental health guidance.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Households with children aged 3-12 years in rural areas, the children and their primary caregivers (parents responsible for supervising and caring for the children in their daily lives); 2. The local resident population; 3. The children and their caregivers agreed to participate in the entire study and follow-up, were able to cooperate with the follow-up surveys, and signed an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Families of children who have received similar unintentional harm interventions; 2. Children who are about to move or have a high likelihood of moving out of their current place of residence; 3. Children who are mentally challenged and are unable to communicate smoothly; 4. Child caregivers who have cognitive or psychiatric disorders, and other problems.
