Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Depression group : (1) Patients aged 12-18 years with depression who meet the diagnostic criteria for depression in the American Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) and the Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (K-SADS); (2) The course of the disease is less than 3 years; (3) The patient has not taken antidepressants or has not regularly used antidepressants for at least 3 months before enrollment, and has not used prescription drugs such as mood stabilizers or antipsychotic drugs; Among them, the standard for irregular use of drugs is that the continuous use of drugs in the past 3 months does not exceed 1 week; (4) 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17) score>=17 points; (5) Han nationality; (6) Right hand. Healthy control group: According to the matching principles of age, gender, education level, etc., the normal control was matched with the group of patients with bipolar disorder. No family history of psychiatric disorders or other inherited neurological disorders, right-handed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Cerebral organic disease, history of head trauma (loss of consciousness for more than 1 hour), obvious mental retardation or other concurrent physical diseases; (2) contraindications to MRI scanning; (3) Electroconvulsive or transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy within the past 6 months; (4) Those with mental illness and family genetic diseases or long-term use of antipsychotic drugs; (5) The total score of the Young Mania Rating Scale (YMRS) at the time of enrollment was <=5, and the 32-item hypomanic symptom list was screened positive; (6) Contraindications to magnetic resonance scanning. Healthy control group (1) Have a family history of severe mental illness or mental illness; (2) Cerebral organic disease, history of head trauma (loss of consciousness for more than 1 hour), obvious mental retardation or other clinically significant concurrent physical diseases; (3) history of alcohol or drug abuse; (4) Contraindications to MRI scanning; (5) Have not taken sleeping, anesthetic, and analgesic drugs in the past month.
