ADHD experiment:step cycle ergometer for 30 minutes of which contains no less than 15 minutes duration of 60%-90% HRmax
TD experiment:step cycle ergometer for 30 minutes of which contains no less than 15 minutes duration of 60%-90% HRmax

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ADHD symptoms subjects inclusion criteria: 1. adult ADHD Self Rating Scale (ASRS)(score > 23) and Conners' Adult ADHD Self Rating Scale (CAARS:L) were tested by ASRS and CAARS:L. ADHD symptoms were defined as the presence of both of the two positive criteria. 2. Age from 18 to 30, with C2 or above driving license of the People's Republic of China; 3. no regular exercises; 4. normal physical motor function, able to complete moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activities; 5. no photosensitive epilepsy, motion sickness and other underlying diseases that cause discomfort or danger during simulated driving; 6. Normal binocular vision (including corrected vision) , and there was no head injury. 7. no simulated driving experience. Inclusion criteria for the Typical Developing (TD) group: 1. Age, gender and driving experience were matched with ADHD group; 2. obtain a C2 or above driving license; 3. no self-reported history of mental/developmental disorders; 4. no physical disability, photosensitive epilepsy, motion sickness and other basic diseases that could not complete physical activities or simulated driving tasks; 5. The binocular function was normal, and there was no head trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. the presence of physical or nervous system abnormalities such as defects or injuries that affect physical activity; 2. the presence of motion sickness, photosensitive epilepsy, and other factors that cause discomfort or risk during simulated driving; 3. Comorbid substance abuse, intellectual disability or severe emotional and social disorders; 4. the presence of ocular disability, disease or uncorrected visual impairment; 5. head trauma that could not wear the instrument; 6. Taking medications related to ADHD or other mental disorders, or discontinuing them for more than five half-lives.
