2.hot compress and ultra-low frequency TENS

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.17 years old and above, without gender restrictions; 2. permanent dentition with no missing teeth; 3. Patients diagnosed with temporomandibular joint disorders according to the research diagnostic criteria for temporomandibular joint disease (RDC/TMD).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. tumor or maxillofacial deformity excepted for mandibular deviation; 2. history of trauma, orthodontic treatment, TMJ treatment or craniofacial surgery; 3. MRI or CT contraindication; 4. periodontosis; 5. major psychological disorders; 6. poor compliance for further treatment; 7. poor CT or MRI quality for measurement.
