Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients (>=18 years old) who meet the diagnostic criteria for ARDS. 2. Awake and able to follow basic commands. 3. Undergoing mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours. 4. Failed the first SBT or failed to remain off the ventilator after a successful SBT, within one week of the first SBT failure. 5. Signed informed consent form by a legal representative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, malignancies, or other comorbidities that may affect the rehabilitation outcome. 2. Patients unable to cooperate with rehabilitation training, such as those with severe consciousness impairment.
