Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: 1. Diagnostic criteria for syphilis infection: confirmed by TPPA positive, seroreactive RPR positive. At the same time, according to national standards, the disease stages of syphilis are classified according to clinical examination and medical history, and syphilis with an unknown incubation period is defined as late latent syphilis. 2. Diagnostic criteria for neurosyphilis: (1) any stage of syphilis; (2) positive for reactive or non-reactive CSF-VDRL; (3) Elevated cerebrospinal fluid protein (>50 mg/dL) or white blood cell count (>10 cells/µL) without other known abnormal causes. 3. Standardized treatment standards: Those who are treated according to the national treatment guidelines are standardized treatments. (1) For syphilis patients without neurological impairment, intramuscular benzathine penicillin G at 2.4 million u per week for 2 consecutive weeks (early syphilis) or 3 weeks (late syphilis), or (2) intravenous crystalloid penicillin G every 4 hours for 14 days, or (3) ceftriaxone 2.0 g/d intravenous infusion for 15 days as an alternative for penicillin-allergic patients.
