Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Refractory CNLDO cases that had previously undergone failed lacrimal duct probing and received orbital CT treatment before reoperation. 2. Cases that met either of the following two criteria were included as complex CNLDO cases: (1) having experienced at least one failed lacrimal duct probing with a firm obstruction encountered during the procedure or the probe tightly adhering to the nasolacrimal duct during probing; (2) having experienced at least two failed lacrimal duct probings.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. a history of other types of lacrimal surgeries, such as lacrimal intubation or balloon catheter dilation; 2. bony obstruction as demonstrated by CT imaging; 3. congenital or acquired anomalies such as hypertelorism, midface hypoplasia, or abnormalities of the anterior nasal or nasomaxillary complex; 4. Down syndrome.
