Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The SAD group: (1) Diagnosis of social anxiety disorder by DSM-5; (2) Chinese Han nationality; (3) age between 12 and 18 years old; (4) no restriction on gender (5) being right-handed; (6) more than 6 years of education. The HC group: (1) Chinese Han nationality; (2) age between 12 and 18 years old; (3) no restriction on gender (4) being right-handed; (5) more than 6 years of education.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The SAD group: (1) Current or past history of anxiety disorders; (2) history of severe physical and neurological disease; (3) current or past history of other psychiatric disorders; (4) history of traumatic brain injury with disorders of consciousness for more than 30 minutes; (5) history of psychoactive substance dependence such as alcohol, except for nicotine, coffee, and social drinking; (6) contraindications to EEG and fMRI. The HC group: (1) Current or any history of psychiatric disorders that meet DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and family history of psychiatric disorders; (2) combined severe physical disease and organic brain disease; (3) contraindications to EEG and fMRI.
