Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria for periodontally healthy volunteers: (1) Aged between 20 and 60 years; (2) Full-mouth periodontal examination reveals probing depth =2 do not exceed 10%, and there are no sites with a bleeding index >=4. 2.Inclusion criteria for periodontitis patients: (1) Aged between 20 and 60 years; (2) The mouth is divided into four quadrants (upper right, upper left, lower left, lower right), with at least two sites per quadrant showing probing depth >=5mm and attachment loss >=1mm; (3) A minimum of 20 remaining teeth, with no more than 8 teeth exhibiting alveolar bone resorption exceeding two-thirds of the root length.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of systemic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, etc. 2. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 3. Having undergone periodontal treatment within the past 6 months; 4. Use of antibiotics within the past 3 months; 5. Smoking history within the past 5 years.
