Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years or older who are scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic surgery in the abdominal surgery department.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Change in surgical approach; individuals with a history of severe psychiatric disorders or those unable to communicate effectively; refusal to sign the informed consent form; incomplete medical records or failure to complete postoperative nausea and vomiting assessment; postoperative transfer to the intensive care unit.
