Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who underwent PICC catheter placement and received echocardiographic assessment of the PICC catheter tip position in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University from January 2022 to July 2023;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients lacking documentation of the exact length of the PICC catheter tip entering the right atrium as measured by the echocardiography probe; 2. Patients lacking manual measurement of the catheter insertion length during the procedure; 3. Patients lacking real-time intracavitary electrocardiogram (ECG) localization of the PICC catheter tip position during the procedure; 4. Patients lacking post-procedure chest radiography to confirm PICC tip location; There are clinical comorbidities that affect the accuracy of echocardiographic PICC tip location, such as superior vena cava obstruction syndrome, radical mastectomy, subclavicular lymph node enlargement.
