Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) participants are between the ages of 18 and 30; (2) are in good physical health; (3) have received specialized training in baseball and softball; (4) are free of any kind of disease or sports injury.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) have an autonomic or cardiovascular disorder; (2) have taken medications or ingested foods within the past three days that may affect autonomic function; (3) have overeaten, dieted, or exercised strenuously in the 48 hours prior to the test; (4) have abnormal mental behavior and sleep conditions; (5) have had an injury to the hand, arm, or shoulder prior to the test; and (6) have a fatiguing condition such as muscle aches and pains.
