Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case group: 1. Han nationality; 2. Female; 3. Women of childbearing age aged 16-45 years; 4. Meet the ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for bipolar disorder, depressive episode, and recurrent depressive disorder; 5. The last use of antipsychotic drugs, mood stabilizers, and antidepressants in patients with the first onset or recurrence has exceeded 7 half-lives of the drugs. Healthy control group: 1. Han nationality; 2. Female; 3. Women of childbearing age aged 16-45 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of central nervous system disease; 2. Patients with suspected central nervous system diseases diagnosed by MRI examination (such as intracranial mass, pituitary tumor, etc.); 3. Severe physical illness; 4. Amenorrhea; 5. History of thyroid disease, adrenal gland disease, gonadal disease; 6. Pregnancy or lactation; 7. Have taken thyroid hormones, antithyroid drugs, glucocorticoids, contraceptives (or drugs containing estrogen and progesterone), bromocriptine and other drugs related to pituitary diseases within two years; 8. Tobacco and alcohol habits; 10. Have taken antipsychotic medications; 11. History of other psychiatric illness.
