18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age: 18 - 60 years old; Burn area >= 50% total body surface area (TBSA), or third-degree burn > 20% TBSA; Patients voluntarily participate in the study, and both patients and their families have been informed of and have consented to the study's purpose and procedures.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with specific types of burns, including chemical and electrical burns; Patients have pre-existing serious medical conditions such as cardiovascular disease, hepatic disease, renal disease, or hematologic disease prior to the occurrence of burns; Patients having a history of malignancy and endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus and hyperthyroidism; Obesity (body mass index > 25 kg/m^2); Patients who are pregnant or lactating; Patients with psychiatric disorders that result in an inability to cooperate, lack of self-control, or communication difficulties; Patients failure to provide samples at all six required time points; HIV-positive patients; Patients with autoimmune diseases.
